Terms and Conditions of Attendance and Participation

 

These are the terms (the “Agreement”) that govern your attendance at and/or participation in the 2025 Islamic Development Bank Group “IsDBG” Annual Meetings (the Event). By registering for the Event, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you are registering on behalf of someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending is aware of, and accepts these terms and conditions. By completing registration, you are warranting that you have made the attendee aware of these terms and conditions and that they have accepted them. 

1. Event admission 

1.1. Admittance. Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Event. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including, without limitation, any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and the IsDBG shall have no liability for any such costs. 

1.2. Termination. You acknowledge that the IsDBG reserves the right to request your removal from the Event if the IsDBG, in its sole discretion, considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or hinder the Event and/or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees or speakers. 

1.3. Media. By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree to grant the IsDBG the right at the Event to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available and hereafter developed, and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to the IsDBG includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, use it alone or together with other information, and allow others to use and/or disseminate it. 

1.4. Event Content. You acknowledge and agree that the IsDBG, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any or all aspects of the Event, including, but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.

2. PRIVACY 

The personal information supplied in connection with this registration will be held by the IsDBG as a record of attendees and parties expressing interest. By registering for this Event, you are agreeing that the IsDBG may use personal information to contact you by email, direct mail, telephone, or fax, in order to supply information relevant to this Event, or about other events and opportunities that the IsDBG is planning and feel may be of interest to you. The IsDBG may also share this information with its partners and event sponsors in order for them to contact you about other products and services which may be of interest to you. 

If you do not wish to receive further correspondence from the IsDBG which does not relate to the event, please email annualmeeting@isdb.org.

The IsDBG is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third party to whom it is entitled to pass such information under this section. Unless the IsDBG receives an explicit written request in advance from you confirming that you do not want to share your contact information, a list of all participants, their affiliation institutions, and Email addresses may be included in the delegate packs and on lists of delegates.

3. LIABILITY 

Views expressed by speakers, sponsors and/or exhibitors are their own. The IsDBG cannot accept liability for any advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker, sponsor, and/or exhibitor at the Event or in any material provided. In addition, the IsDBG shall not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of the services or information provided in connection with the event.

4. INSURANCE 

Participants are required to comply with the rules and regulations governing the applicable venue and/or accommodation. It is the responsibility of the participants to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the Event. The IsDBG cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

5. WEBSITE AND LINKS 

The Event website may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which the IsDBG takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.

6. COVID-19 RISK

By registering, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the IsDB Group or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

Welcome to the IsDB Group Annual Meetings registration. 

Official delegates (Governors, Alternate Governors), Observers, Participants and Speakers will receive an invitation letter with a registration code. The registration code is essential for registration, which is subject to approval.

Members of a delegation from the same institution must register using the same registration code.

Accompanying persons must register using the same registration code but need to register after the principal participant, indicating the full name of the principal participant and their relationship.

Please note that you can register only once. If you need to change your status, contact the Annual Meeting Secretariat at annualmeeting@isdb.org.

When registering on behalf of another person, use a different email address for each registration.

Before starting the registration, ensure you have the following items ready:

  • Registration code
  • Color photograph (passport size) with a white background
  • Copy of your passport or national ID

After completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation letter, which you need to present to access the venue and obtain your badge.

All communication related to the Annual Meeting will be conducted through the email provided. Kindly ensure that our emails are not directed to your junk or spam folder.
